Accedo will be demonstrating Accedo One, a unified cloud platform that empowers media companies to build, transform and grow their video experiences. Originally launched in 2013, the platform has served around 300 million users in 2017, according to Accedo.
Accedo One provides a building-block approach, which enables video service providers to select the features and components accordingly to their requirements. All functionalities are accessible through a single platform, allowing ease of management and scalability across devices and services.
Some of the modules included in the Accedo One cloud platform are Accedo Studio, a user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) management platform that allows operators to build and customise layouts and navigation components; Accedo Control, a configuration management platform that allows operators to remotely modify and refine UX across any device, region and platform; and Accedo Insight, an analytics platform that surfaces data including user behaviour, campaign performance, conversation and other metrics.
One user of Accedo One is SportFix, which has introduced its over-the-top (OTT) sports live streaming service in the ASEAN region. Launched using Accedo One Insight to analyse usage and engagement metrics, the services SportsFix offers comprise both live and video-on-demand (VoD) content which users are able to access via mobile and mobile Web.
